Pastor Kristy joined our staff June 2021 as Head of Staff. As Head of Staff she works alongside Session to make sure that the Worship, Education, Fellowship, Congregational Care, Mission, and love is shared in the congregation.
Before God called her to SPC, she served as an Associate Pastor for Outreach, Youth, and Families and other duties. She has a passion for young people and intergenerational belonging. Pastor Kristy came to us with a vision for connecting the community and the church alongside the great work that has been done over the years from previous spiritual leadership. There is great wisdom and love here and will be an excellent place to partner in ministry.
Kristy hold a BA from King University (Bristol, TN- PCUSA College) in Theatre and Youth Ministry. Kristy holds also an MDiv and MAPT (Master of Art in Practical Theology-Christian Education) from Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA). She and her husband, Anthony, have two children: James (14) and Micah (2). Kristy loves to socialize with others over a good beverage and watch tv and movies. She loves to play with her little one and share in good storytelling in theatre, art, film, and beyond.

Michael is thrilled to join the Staff at SPC! Michael also has had a long career as a church musician, having held Staff Singer positions with churches both in the Atlanta Metro area and in NYC. He currently is the Bass Staff Singer at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
