Gold Rush GangThe Gold Rush Gang is a group of active senior adults, especially for the golden-agers 50 and up, who stay busy with monthly activities and outings such as picnics, day trips, and fellowship gatherings. Contact the church office at spcusa7777@gmail.com or the GRG coordinator to find out how you can be a part of these exciting activities.

presbyterian-womenThe Presbyterian Women currently have two active circles. The book is called An Abiding Hope: The Presence of God in Exodus and Deuteronomy.  When we study the experiences of the Hebrews as God delivers them from slavery and begins to lead them toward the Promised Land, we can learn much about our relationship with God.  In Exodus and Deuteronomy we see the promise of what that relationship can be, and we see the realities of what that relationship often becomes.  As we travel with God through life, part of our call is to help ourselves and others live into that fullness.  It is God our Redeemer who, by grace, gives us the power to do so and to move forward as people who have been set free.  Thanks be to God!

          • Circle #1 meets the first Tuesday of each month at 12:00pm. The ladies enjoy a time of fellowship together before beginning their Bible Study. Circle #2 meets the first Wednesday evening of each month at 6:15 in the Parlor. Sally Smith and Lee Hart serve as the co-leaders for Circle #2.
          • Thursday Morning Ladies Bible Study – Our Thursday morning Bible Study is now studying Contagious Joy.  Think about it … do you know a joyous person?  Do you not want to be with them at every opportunity?  We’re not talking about any syrupy substitute of over-done niceness — yuk!  We’re learning about joy that bubbles up from our relationship with Christ.  Joy casts her net of authenticity and draws in even the reluctant.  Joy is just that appealing! If you would like to participate, please contact the church office at spcusa7777@gmail.com.
